The Music

Our stage featured a diverse lineup of talented performers:

Alexander Circosta: Media personality and performer, opened the musical program before heading to Perth Stadium to sing the national anthem. Alexander is an experienced spontaneous, quick witted media personality who has developed his own unique energetic style that resonates with public and corporate audiences across TV, radio, stage and the digital space. With a range of meta competencies Alexander is able to move creatively across many disciplines from academia to performance and digital media. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and Creative Arts from Murdoch University.

Alanah Linn: WAAPA Guitarist and songwriter, performed four original compositions blending honesty and literary flair. Having played in and around the Boorloo music scene supporting artists and playing in bands since 2020, Alanah Linn has sought a balance of honesty, literacy and guitar riffs. Throughout the years playing around Perth, Alanah has had the chance to support international and home grown acts, prominently through playing guitar for Ullah. Alanah does the occasional solo gig performing originals tainted in life experience, around every 2nd year. Time off from music gives Alanah the chance to complete a BA in English and Cultural Studies at Curtin University, hopefully graduating at the end of 2025.

Valentina: At just nine years old, delivered a moving rendition of “Sorry I’m Here for Someone Else” by Benson Boone. She has her own agent scouting for various creative projects for the young one.

Gypsy Williams & Zoe Bizzaca: Lifelong friends and musical duo, performed covers and originals, including “Vienna” by Billy Joel and “Anyone Would Care” by Zoe.

Scott Demalotte: WAAPA graduate and composer, closed the program with pieces bridging classical and contemporary styles. He will be completing his Masters in Teaching in 4 weeks. This high achiever created a music album earlier this year and his works can be found on Spotify and International Pop Star.

Reflections from The Brilliant Foundation

As we celebrate our fifth year, The Brilliant Foundation has grown from zero to over 2,300 members worldwide. Our journey has been rewarding and inspiring, driven by the belief that kindness and giving back can transform lives and communities.

DR Renee Ralph, Co-Founder, The Brilliant Foundation expressed heartfelt thanks to all musicians, volunteers, sponsors, and attendees:

“It is wonderful to see you all here. Thank you for giving your time and talent to support this worthy cause. Together, we are building a more inclusive and compassionate society.”

The Impact

“Truth Telling in Music” was more than a fundraiser—it was a celebration of resilience, creativity, and connection. The funds raised will help sustain the vital work of FISH and support future initiatives by The Brilliant Foundation and our partners.

Looking Ahead

As the final notes faded and Scott Wilson signed autographs for his Indigenous comic heroine and heroes, we were reminded of the power of music to unite, heal, and inspire. The success of this event sets a high bar for the future, and we look forward to even greater collaboration, creativity, and impact in the years to come.

Thank you to everyone who made “Truth Telling in Music” a success. Together, we are making a difference—one song, one story, one act of kindness at a time.
