Perth, Western Australia - Hipolito Studios started as a way for me to channel my passion for capturing the precious moments around me. It all began with a simple, old Samsung digital camera I bought from a thrift market. I brought that camera everywhere — to my dinner dance, school events, and whenever I was hanging out with friends. Through these experiences, I discovered how much I loved capturing the atmosphere of a moment and witnessing the joy that those photos brought to others.

As I continued to take photos, I noticed a gap in the market. Many students couldn't afford professional photography services, but they still wanted high-quality images to remember their important milestones. This realisation inspired me to turn my passion into a business. Hipolito Studios was born, driven by the desire to make professional event and house party photography accessible to students and young adults in Perth.

Turning Passion into Business

The pivotal moment for me was when I decided to start charging for my photography services. I had been using my dad’s old Nikon D5000, bringing it to friends' birthday parties, events, and school functions. As my skills grew, so did the recognition of my work. Hipolito Studios grew organically, fueled by word of mouth and the genuine connections I made through friends and clients. My distinct style became synonymous with capturing the raw, unfiltered energy of house parties and events.

Aiming for the Future

Currently, I am studying a Bachelor of Business majoring in Business Management at UWA. While Hipolito Studios remains my side hustle, I see a promising future in expanding it. My ultimate goal for my business is to become one of the leading house party and event photographers in the Perth region, known for a distinctive style that’s both bold and authentic. I aim to one day open my own photography studio and upgrade my gear to further enhance the quality of my work.

For me, photography is more than just taking photos; it’s about creating lasting memories for clients. Each event is an opportunity to capture the essence of a moment, preserving it for years to come.
